After delivering back to back commercially flop movies, Gopichand is currently busy in his upcoming spy thriller drama, which is being helmed by Thiru Subramanyam. Rumored to be a remake of Salman Khan starrer Ek Tha Tiger, the film has Mehreen Kaur Pirzada and Zarine Khan playing the lead roles. According to the latest update, the makers have finalized the title of Gopichand starrer ‘Chanakya’
It is known news that recently Gopichand met with an accident and hence the movie shoot delayed and he joined the shoot after taking a break. Anil Sunkara is bankrolling this upcoming movie and major part of the Chanakya is shot in Northern India. The makers are planning to release the movie in September. The makers are planning to release the first look poster of the film and very soon they will make official announcement regarding it. The film’s latest schedule is underway in Hyderabad these days. This is Gopichand’s 26th film.
Gopichand made his debut in Tollywood with Tholi Valapu in the year 2001 and he was then seen in negative roles in a number of films later on. He was last seen in Pantham which was released last year but was bombed at the box office. But this time, he is very confident on the content of Chanakya.
