Director Mari Selvaraj has brought a dream star cast for his film Maamannan. The movie has Fahadh Faasil Vadivelu, Udhayanidhi Stalin and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. Oscar-winner AR Rahman is on the board to render the tune.
Apart from being an actor, Udhyanidhi Stalin is also a politician and he is quite active too as his father Stalin is the Chief Minister of Tamil Naidu state. The sources say that as Udhayanidhi Stalin wants to focus on politics, he has decided to quit movies and Maamannan will be his last film.
Mari Selvaraj’ last movie was Karnan, in which Tamil star Dhanush played the lead role. The movie was about the human rights violations committed in the name of caste, and it received an overwhelming response at the box office last year. On the otherside, Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkaru Vaari Paata which has Mahesh Babu has arrived at the theaters today and is receiving positive response by the movie lovers.
