Isha Ambani, the daughter of richest Indian Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, tied the knot with Ajay Piramal’s son Anand Piramal in a lavish wedding in Mumbai on 12th December. According to the latest buzz, the estimated cost of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal’s wedding is around Rs 724 Cr ($100 million). It won’t be wrong to say that their’s total wedding cost can make anyone calculate their entire lifetime’s income. On the other side, Gali Janardhan Reddy spent Rs 550 Cr for the wedding of his daughter Brahmani Gali in 2016.
Gali Janardhan Reddy is a former politician and a Karnataka-based mining baron. In 2016, Brahmani tied the knot with Rajiv Reddy, the son of the Hyderabad-based businessman, Vikram Deva Reddy. The wedding took place at the 36 acre Bengaluru Palace Grounds on 16th November 2016 and the entire venue was made to resemble the ruins of Hampi, the great capital of the Vijaynagar Empire.
The wedding rituals witnessed Brahmani Gali dazzling in a red Kanjeevaram half-saree that reportedly cost Rs 17 Cr. The diamonds, rubies and Brahmani’s jewellery was reportedly priced at around Rs 90-98 Cr.
Few days ago Ambani’s hosted a pre-wedding event in Udaipur which was attended by international celebs like Beyonce, former First Lady of US Hillary Clinton, Bollywood stars (Aamir Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, Hema Malini, Dia Mirza Esha Deol, Sunny Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Madhur Bhandarkar, Bonam Irani, Ekta Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan), prominent politicians and sportspersons. Yesterday, the family hosted a grand wedding reception and musical concert in Mumbai. Interestingly, music maestro AR Rahman gave a live performance at the music concert. At the reception, Bollywood celebs, as well as many politicians, made an appearance. The entire Ambani clan including Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal along with their parents, Nita Ambani, Mukesh Ambani, Ajay Piramal and Swati Piramal, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta posed for the shutterbugs at the reception.
