Isha Koppikar, who shot to fame with song Khallas in Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV’ 2002 film Company, is once again teaming up with him for an untitled web series. Isha Koppikar feels although RGV is going through a bad phase in filmy career right now, but no one can downplay his contribution to Indian cinema for the cult movies he once made.
Recently during the media interaction, Isha Koppikar opened up about her collaboration with RGV for Web series and said, “I have wrapped up the shooting a major part of the web series. Ram Gopal Varma is the show runner and presenter of the show. This upcoming web series is directed by four directors and after they finish the shooting of all episodes, they submit their work to Ram Gopal Varma. He will look after post-production.”
Isha Koppikar showered praises on Ram Gopal Varma and said, “ He is a genius. He has made cult films of Indian cinema. The first Hindi horror film that I watched was Raat. Then all the other films, whether it is Bhoot, Rangeela, Satya and the genre horror, romantic-musical, gangster-action and he has made a cult film in that genre.”
On the otherside, Isha Koppikar is also working on the Tamil science fiction movie Ayalaan, which also has Rakul Preet and Sharad Kelkar.
Directed by R. Ravikumar, the film also features Rakul Preet and Sharad Kelkar.
