Mythri Movie Makers is one of the Tollywood’s most promising production companies. Nearly all of the leading Telugu heroes have collaborated with them, and they are still planning  number of big budget projects.  According to the latest report,  15 Mythri Movie Makers offices were searched by representatives of the Income Tax- IT and GST departments.

The Teams of IT officials conducted  simultaneous searches at the houses and residences of the top executives of the firm in Hyderabad. The officials checked  the records of the movie-maker to ascertain if the company paid the tax on its income.

 The officials raided the premises of Mythri promoters, including Cherukuri Mohan, Erneni Naveen,  and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar in Jubilee Hills and also in Andhra Pradesh.

This occurs when Mythri  Movei Makers is getting ready for  Sankranthi releases of two significant Telugu films, Waltair Veerayya  starring megastar Chiranjeevi  and Veera Simha Reddy starring Nandamuri Balakrishna.  Recently the makers also launched the film Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan.

 The sources said that the promoters had arranged Rs 700 cr from different sources but failed to file appropriate GST returns and failed to reveal the source of income in ITRs filed for the financial year of 2022-23.

 Mythri Movie Makers are best known for producing  Pushpa, Janatha Garage, Dear Comrade, Rangasthalam, Srimanthudu, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, and Uppena.
