Nandamuri Kalyanram is playing the role of his father Nandamuri Harikrishna in NTR biopic, in which Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the titular role. Recently Kalyanram opened up about NTR biopic and also talked why did the makers of NTR biopic not ask Jr NTR to act in NTR biopic?
We have already reported that NTR biopic is being made on the life of legendary actor and late Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The makers are only focusing on the character of Sr NTR. There is no role of Balakrishna in the film. Balayya’s grand son, the son of Tejaswini, will be seen playing child Balakrishna is this NTR biopic, which is directed by National award winning director Krish. A junior artist is playing Nandamuri Balakrishna and the makers have shot only couple of scenes of Balakrishna from backside with the junior artist.
Kalyanram said , “The makers of NTR biopic wanted to show what is needed and necessary. It won’t be fair to ask Young Tiger Jr NTR to play a small role in NTR biopic to make the fans happy.” Kalyanram further said, “ Even for my films, I can’t just ask Jr NTR to play cameo. He is a superstar and he deserves respect.”
Kalyanram added, “All is well between Balakrishna and Jr NTR. He was Balayya, who invited Jr NTR to attend the important event of audio release and asked him to unveil the songs of NTR.”
The film will have Sushanth playing his grandfather A Nageswar Rao. Vidya Balan is playing NTR’s wife and Rakul Preet is playing the role of late actor Sridevi in NTR biopic, which is jointly bankrolled by Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati Ranganatha, Vishnu Induri under NBK Films, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, Vibri Media banners.
