Mega Prince Varun Tej is currently working for his sport based drama Ghani in which he is playing a boxer. Being helmedd by debutant Kiran Korrapati, the upcoming film is bankrolled by Allu Aravind along with Allu Venkatesh and Sidhu Mudda. The film will mark the Telugu debut of B town actress Saiee Manjrekar.
Apart from the lead pair, Ghani also has Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty and Kannada hero Upendra in the crucial roles. We have already reported that Hollywood action choreographers Larnell Stoval and Vlad Rimburg of ‘Titans’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ fame are on the board to choreograph the action episodes. Today morning the makers of Ghani unveiled a special poster to announce that the Varun Tej starrer film’ final round has started. Varun Tej is taking part in the shooting of the film’s climax boxing episode.
The shoot of Ghani was halted in the month of April this year due to the second wave of the novel coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown. After almost two months, the makers have resumed the shoot after the lockdown restrictions were eased.
Thaman is rendering the tune, George C Williams is taking care of the cinematography department and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor of Ghani.
