It’s a known fact that India and Russia hold the highest level of friendship for many years when compared to any other nation. As reported earlier, Narendra Modi who is on the foreign visit is in Vladivostok as part of the two-day bilateral visit to Russia. In this meet, Modi will be discussing the regional and international issues of mutual interest with the Russian president Putin. From the reports, it was also known that Modi will also be participating in the Eastern Economic Forum during the visit.

Today, Russian President Putin and Modi jointly addressed the media today after the bilateral meet with the delegates and the nations.

Speaking to the media, PM Modi expressed his views on meeting with Putin as I’m honored to be the 1st ever Indian PM to be coming to Vladivostok. I thank my friend, President Putin for inviting me here. I remember the Annual Summit of 2001, the first one held in Russia when he was President and I had come in Atalji’s delegation as Gujarat CM.”

Hinting Pakistan on abrogation of Article 370 and 35(A) of J&K, PM Modi said, India and Russia were strongly against the outside influence in the internal matters.
