Mega-producer Allu Aravind has acquired the Telugu rights of Kollywood star Suriya’s upcoming home production, Jackpot, in which actor’ wife Jyothika is playing the lead role. Jackpot is a woman-centric movie and now we have to wait and see if Allu Aravind’ Jackpot will enthrall the Telugu audience.

Jackpot is an action and comedy movie, which is directed by Kalyaan. Apart from Jyothika, the film also Revathi, in lead roles, while Samuthirakani, Mansoor Ali Khan, Yogi Babu and Anandaraj playing supporting roles. Revathi essayed the character of Masha for the third time after Arangetra Velai and Gulaebaghavali. Jackpot is slated for a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu on the 21st of this month. We will have to wait for a few days to see if Jackpot can enthrall the Telugu audience. Apart from Jackpot, recently veteran producer Allu Aravind has also acquired the Telugu theatrical rights of Malayalam Megastar Mammootty starrer upcoming period war drama Mamangam.

Jyothika, who was last seen playing the role of a school principal in Raatchasi, and Revathi who played a District Collector in Keni, are working for the very first time in Jackpot. The director Kalyan has previously worked with Revathi in Gulebagavali. The film Jackpot has cinematography by Ananda Kumar, editing by Vijay and the music by Vishal.

On the other side, Allu Aravind is foraying into producing a web series. His upcoming web series is said to revolve around adult jokes and content, in which Sanjana Galrani is playing the lead role. A new director is said to be helming the web series from the Allu compound. Viva Harsha is also part of Allu Aravind’s web series.

Currently, Allu Aravind is also co-producing the upcoming film of his son Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo. Allu Aravinda’ previous offering was
Geetha Govindham starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, which was a blockbuster at the box office.
