They are at loggerheads in the district, with each holding rival meetings, creating the confusion among party cadre. Jagan warned them against promoting group politics in Nellore district.
Kakani Govardhan Reddy and P Anil Kumar Yadav were flexing muscles by holding separate rallies and meetings in Nellore town on the same day in an apparent show of strength and the banners of those support Kakani were torn away. As they did not mend their ways even after the senior leaders asked them to maintain the restraint, the CM Jagan Mohan Reddy summoned them on Wednesday.
Balineni Srinivas Reddy- the regional coordinator for Nellore, met Jagan Mohan Reddy and discussed the ongoing turf war between Kakani Govardhan Reddy and P Anil Kumar Yadav .
Jagan Mohan Reddy’ preparations for the 2024 elections have picked pace. He has appointed regional coordinators and has started talking to the MLAs about the current scenario and their performance.
On the otherside, YSR Congress is all set to launch a house-to-house campaign and the main Opposition TDP starts a yearlong tour of 26 districts. The political campaigns aimed at voters for the 2024 elections have already started two years ahead of the election in 175 Assembly constituencies.
