The people have the curiosity to know about the wealth of the Chief Ministers of the states of the country. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is the richest Chief Minister of the country- India. And the poorest Chief Minister is West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee.
As per the election affidavit, Andhra Pradesh chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has Rs 373.8 crore assets whereas Mamata Banerjee’s assets are Rs 15 lakh. The assets of Jagan Mohan Reddy included both hereditary assets as well as self-earned assets.
The only other chief minister with assets above Rs 100 crore is Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu, who is at number 2. His total assets are Rs 132 crore. Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik is at the third place as he owned assets of Rs 63.72 crore. On the other hand Puducherry CM N Rangaswamy is the fourth richest CM of the country. His total assets are Rs 37 crore 24 lakh. While Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio is the fifth richest CM of the country. His total assets are Rs 28 crore 14 lakh. Telangana Chief Minister KCR assets are Rs 13.72 crore as per his election affidavit.
The assets of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are Rs 1 crore 56 lakh. While West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has assets of only Rs 15 lakh, the lowest among all chief ministers.
