To impress the youth against the YCP government in AP, TDP leader Nara Lokesh is going to start a padayatra named Yuvagalam from 27th of this month.  The police  are giving the permission district-wise not state-wise. The police did not respond till the last minute to the letter written by the TDP leaders seeking permission for this padayatra, but at the end they gave permission. However, the TDP has written letters to the DGP, Home Secretary and District SPs for the state-wise march. Chittoor SP responded to TDP’s letter and gave permission for Lokesh’s padayatra.

Permission to Chittoor District-  Although the TDP sought permission for the Nara Lokesh Padayatra across the state, the government has granted permission only to Chittoor district for now. To this extent, Chittoor District SP Rishant Reddy gave permission and imposed several conditions. 15 conditions have been imposed for the padayatra in the district and 14 conditions have been imposed for the open meeting. The conditions include restrictions on use of crackers, loud speakers and on public meetings on the main roads as the yatra passes through the national highway.

Nara Lokesh’s Yuvagalam padayatra is now haunted by fear of  Jagan Mohan Reddy government’ GO No. 1. It is known that Chandrababu Naidu’ meeting at Kuppam was stopped by the police because of Go No 1. Now the tension is increasing among the TDP leaders as what will happen if Go No. 1 will be used for Lokesh Padayatra as well.

Only Chittoor police gave permission for Nara  Lokesh’s padayatra. Permits are not issued across the state. Nara  Lokesh will have to continue the padayatra by taking permission from the police district wise. If any unwanted incidents happen in the middle, SPs of the respective districts have the possibility to cancel the permission.
