Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur are busy in the success party of their recent offering- iSmart Shankar starring the young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh and Nidhhi Agerwal. The movie was released on 18th July and has turned out money spinner at the box office.
Before the release it was heard that Puri Jagannadh has lifted the concept of sim transplant from Hollywood movie iBoy but Puri refuted it. Though he said that he inspired the concept from Hollywood movie but did not reveal the name of the movie.
Now once again Puri Jgannadh is in trouble as actor Jai Akash has filed case on director and according to him iSmart Shankar’s main concept of brain transplant is copied from his 2015 Tamil film ‘Naan Yaar’. Jai Akash further said that Naan Yaar is going to release in Telugu as ‘Kothaga Unnadu’.
Hero Jai Akash, who is popular for Srinu Vaitla’s Anandam and Anandamanandamaye, said, “After watching iSmarat Shankar, I was shocked and when I tried to reach Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur, they did not respond me. So I lodged a complaint with the Tamil Film Producer’s Council. If needed, I am ready to proceed legally for the justice.”
