Jailer starring Rajinikanth, is an upcoming Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Nelson, and produced by Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. Shiva Rajkumar, also known as Shivanna, has joined the cast of Rajnikanth starrer upcoming most awaited movie Jailer. The upcoming action drama marks his debut in the Tamil film industry. Yesterday the production house Sun Pictures shared a pic of Shiva Rajkumar and revealed: Dr. Shiva Rajkumar from the sets of #Jailer.
The reports are coming that Shiva Rajkumar is playing a negative role in the film. He has been active in the Kannada industry for decades but had not chosen to appear in other language films. But now he is going to act in Tamil film.
The film Jailer stars Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth, with Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, Ramya Krishnan and Vinayakan in supporting roles. The reunion of Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan in a film has caught the attention of the Tamil audience as the combo delivered one of Tamil Cinema’s most massive hits, Padayappa. Their combination in Padayappa was a success because of how epic their face-offs were. The movie lovers would definitely want to see glimpses of Neelambari in Ramya Krishnan in Jailer.
Jailer was announced in February 2022 with the working title Thalaivar 169. Later on, it was changed to Jailer. The upcoming actioner will also be Rajnikanth’s first collaboration with director Nelson.
