On the occasion of Jana Sena Chief and actor Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, few theaters are going to screen Jalsa and Thammudu. It is known that Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu fans have already screened the special shows of Pokiri and Okkadu worldwide. A total of over 380 shows of Pokiri were arranged across the globe that created record and now it is the turn of Jalsa. Pawan Kalyan Kalyan starrer Jalsa was directed by Trivikram Srinivas. It was released on 2nd April 2008. The movie starring Parvati Melton, Ileana D’Cruz, Mahesh Babu, Prakash Raj, Brahmanadam and Kamalinee Mukherjee in prominent roles.
Now according to the latest report, Jalsa has beaten Pokiri record in terms of shows. A total of 501 and more shows have been arranged for Jalsa’ special screening. Pawan Kalyan fans are also aiming to break the collections record set by Pokiri.
Jalsa was a blockbuster hit, which created history in Tollywood. On its opening day, the movie collected more than Rs 7 cr worldwide and it broke the record of 76 years in the Industry for performing exceptionally even overseas. To date, it remains to be the highest-grossing film in Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s acting career.
The fans of Pawan Kalyan are celebrating the actor’ birthday in some style. All the collections for Jalsa special shows will be donated to the charity.
