On Sunday evening, the police of Jammu and Kashmir has reported that the situation over there is totally under control and no untoward incident has been taken place till now. The news has come upon the evening of the Eid festival in the state.
It is known that Poonch administration has also declared that it would be providing the Jammu and Kashmiri’s with 6 hours of relaxation from the 144 section. This would help the people to come out purchase the things for the Bakrid festival.
144 section reads the prohibition of gathering four or more people in public places could be of any reason. Director-General of Police Dilbagh Singh said on Saturday evening, there was no harsh event occurred but had faced a minor stone-pelting which was dealt at the spot and was nipped in the bud.
Police have further declared that there was no firing took place as people are calm and co-operative. Cops further clarified that people shouldn’t believe any fabricated news.
A ministry spokesperson has dismissed the reports of 10,000 people collaborating for a protest as no such thing took place here, “There have been a few stray protests in Srinagar/Baramulla and none of these involved a crowd of more than 20 people”
