Big Shock to TDP (Telugu Desam Party) as the senior actress turned politician Jayasudha is going to join YSRCP after resigning to her party. According to the latest report, Jayasudha will meet YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the evening at his Lotus Pond residence and will join YSRCP party in the presence of party chief.
In 2009, Jayasudha contested for Assembly seat representing Secunderabad constituency on behalf of Congress and she won it. She got elected as MLA for the 1st time and post bifurcation of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, Jayasudha contested from the same constituency. However, she lost the polls. In 2014, Jayasudha was threatened by YSRCP leaders when she was campaigning in her constituency. As her convoy entered Mettuguda, YSRCP activists attacked Jayasudha’s vehicle with stones. She was surprised and stopped the campaign and left for her house.
After that, the actress turned politician Jayasudha left the party and joined TDP (Telugu Desam Party). However, Jayasudha was never active in the party. As she had a close association with YSR and his family members, Jayasudha has decided to join YSRCP. The sources close to Jayasudha says that she is likely to contest either from Vishakapatnam or Vijayawada.
It is known news that comedian Prudhvi joined YSRCP. Bhanu Chander, Chota K Naidu , Vijay Chander, and Posani announced their support to the party.
On the work front, Jayasudha was last seen in Nithin and Raashi Kahnna starrer family entertainer movie Srinivasa Kalyanam, which was bombed at the box office. The actress has also worked in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and few Kannada films.
