U Turn fame Shraddha Srinath played the female lead in Natural Star Nani starrer emotional romantic drama Jersey and received lot of applause for her performance skills. Recently Jersey Baby Shraddha Srinath spoke about S*xual abuse, S*xual harassment and #metoo movement in the film Industry.
Shraddha Srinath said, “ One movie can’t bring in a revolution or suddenly school all the men. One movement like #MeToo can not bring change in the society. Though several celebrities have raised the voice against the s*xual abuse and S*xual harassment, but the men who were accused came out clean. The people have to be educated daily. Women safety, s*xual abuse, and S*xual harassment, all of these have to be spoken about on a daily basis, even if the women are targeted.”
Earlier Shraddha Srinath has supported Sruthi Hariharan who named Arjun Sarja in harassment. She has also attacked the big stars for their behavior. Last year in the month of October, she has written about #Metoo on her Twitter, “I’m mildly curious. Where are the men. 🙂 The men who on 70 mm screens vow to protect their sisters and mothers and fight off a dozen bad men and make trucks fly. Please do your magic now. Say something. I just want to know what our superheroes think. That’s all.”
