Guntur East MLA Mustafa said that it was committed to decorate the tower with the tricolour on the solicitation of various groups. A pole will also be constructed to hoist the national flag near the tower on Thursday, and requisite groundwork has also been made to do so.The state unit of the BJP had demanded that the name of the tower be changed to honour former president Abdul Kalam. In fact, they also alarmed to wreck the monument if the YSRC government doesn’t consider their stipulations.
