Director Buchi Babu Sana, who has worked as Sukumar’s associate for ‘Nannaku Prematho’, made a promising debut with the love story, Uppena, starring Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty, which is a blockbuster at the box office and we have already reported that Buchi Babu will soon collaborate with Young Tiger Jr NTR for a new film, which is a sport based drama.
The sources say that recently Buchi Babu narrated the outline of the script to Jr NTR and got a green signal from the star. The lead actor in the film is said to be a sportsman in multiple sports. Buchi Babu is now drafting the script. If everything goes as per plan, Jr NTR will be seen playing the role of a sportsman in multiple sports in Buchi Babu Sana’ magnum opus.
Mythri Movie Makers, which earlier bankrolled Janatha Garage, is set to produce this film on a big budget. The reports are also coming that the film is a period sports drama set in the backdrop of Visakhapatnam.
On the work front, Jr NTR is currently working with SS Rajamouli for an upcoming film RRR, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya and also has Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and others.
