Junior Artiste says: Bharat Ane Nenu Associate Director tried to trap me

Though the veteran actors in the industry might deny the existence of the casting couch and express their disagreement, it is true! From Radhika Apte, Kasthuri, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Archana, Varalakshmi, Madhavi Latha, Parvathi Menon,  many leading and successful actresses in the film industry have openly confessed that there is a casting couch in the South.

 Recently Sri Reddy also exposed Abhiram Daggubati, Koratala Siva,  Kona Venkat, Viva Harsha and Sree Ram Chandra. Now other actresses are also raising their voices against Tollywood Casting couch.

In a discussion on noted TV Channel, a junior artiste named Sunitha revealed her trials in the industry. She said that during her initial days in  Telugu Film industry, junior artiste agents had tried to take advantage of her, but she had spurned them, due to which she lost many opportunities.

She revealed that Associate Directors harassed artistes. She also said that there were even plans afoot to take her to Mumbai at one point of time.  The junior artist Sunitha made strong allegations against the directorial department of ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ starring Superstar Mahesh Babu and Kiara Advani, while speaking of her experiences.

She says that when she was approached for a role in ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’, she was asked for s*xual favour.
