Mega Star Chiranjeevi is currently playing lead role in the movie Acharya which has progressed at a brisk pace until Corona virus scare hit the town. The movie’s shooting came to a halt with this and it will resume shooting once situation comes back to normalcy. On the other hand it is known that Trisha who has been roped in to play as female lead in the movie has opted out of it due to creative differences with the director. Trisha said that there is a difference in narrative in a few months.
After Trisha’s exit, Acharya team has considered two heroines Kajal Agarwal and Anushka Shetty. As Kajal Agarwal demanded bomb, they have considered Anushka. But the Nishabdam actress is not willing to act in mega projects. So with no option left they have agreed to play handsome amount to Kajal.
This will be the second time Kajal is pairing opposite Chiru. Earlier they both worked for Khaidi No 150 which was successful. It is said that Kajal Agarwal has even signed the dotted line. She will join the project once shooting resumes.
Ram Charan will be seen in a key role in the movie. Manisharma is composing music and Koratala Shiva is the director.
