Kajal Aggarwal to play Soorpanakha

Kajal Aggarwal to play SoorpanakhaKajal Aggarwal may essay the role of Soorpanakha, sister of Ravana, in an upcoming mythological movie, which will be helmed by director Bhargav, says sources.

Kajal Aggarwal who has shared the screen space with several top stars like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan and others, has been approached  to play an important role in an upcoming mythological movie. The sources say that director Bhargav is planning to make a sociology fantasy movie and planning to bring gorgeous diva Kajal Aggarwal on the board to reprise the role of Soorpanakha, the sister of the main antagonist, Ravana, the King of Lanka (Ramayana).

Not many of us know about the life story of Soorpanakha. If there had been no Soorpanakha, there would have been no Ramayana. When Soorpanakha tried to seduce both Rama and Lakshman, Lakshman chopped her nose and ears. She was one of the main reasons behind the battle between Lord Rama and Ravana.

The director Bhargav felt that Kajal Aggarwal is fit for the role of Soorpanakha. The talk has been initiated but nothing is yet finalized. Meanwhile Kajal Aggarwal is busy in her upcoming movie Paris Paris, being helmed by Ramesh Aravind. Paris Paris is remake of Bollywood movie Queen starring Kangana Ranaut.

 Kajal Aggarwal has also signed one more project, which will be helmed by Sreenivas. She will also be seen romancing with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in an upcoming movie, directed by Santosh Srinivas. This film is an official remake of Tamil film Theri. Catherine Tresa is also playing one of the female lead in the film, which is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

 Apart from these  movies, Kajal Aggarwal has also been roped in Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas starrer film in the direction of Teja in which Sonu Sood will play the main antagonist. It will be bankrolled by Anil Sunkara.
