After delivering successful movie PSV Garuda Vega, Dr Rajasekhar is making his come back with an upcoming movie Kalki. Karthikeya alias Prasad who is a writer has alleged that Kalki is based on the story written by him. He has approached Telugu Cine Writers’ Association and alleged that Kalki’s story has been plagiarized by Prasanth Varma from one of his scripts.
The noted writer-director and ‘Katha Hakkula Vedhika’ convenor BVS Ravi released a press note and clarified that there is no any similarities in the scripts given to him by Kalki’ makers and Prasad. Both the scripts are entirely different. He added that when the film releases if they do find any similarities the matter will be solved amicably.
BVS Ravi further said, “If we find any similarities between these two scripts, we ensure that the other writer’ gets due credit in the film and also the remuneration.”
Apart from Dr Rajasekhar, Kalki has also other stars Nassar, Ashtosh Rana, Nanditha Swetha, Rahul Ramakrishna, Shatru, Siddu Jonnalagadda, Poojitha Ponnada, Scarlett Mellish Wilson, Adah Sharma, Charandeep, Venugopal, Vennela Ramarao, DS Rao, Amith Sharma and Sathish in supporting roles.
The investigative thriller Kalki is helmed by Prasanth Varma and is produced by C Kalyan whereas presented by Shivani and Shivathmika. The movie will hit the theaters on 28th June.
