Bimbisara is an upcoming Telugu film starring Nandmauri Kalyan Ram, written and directed by Vashist. The movie also stars Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon, Vennela Kishore, Warina Hussain, Brahmaji and Srinivasa Reddy. Kalyan Ram is arriving on the big screens with Bimbisara on 5th August. The posters and teaser of this drama have created a good buzz while the trailer which came out a few days ago had raised the expectations a lot.
The reports are coming that the entire theatrical rights of Bimbisara were taken by noted producer and distributor Dil Raju for Rs 15 cr. Apart from that, the non-theatrical rights which include dubbing, satellite, digital and audio rights were sold for Rs 22 cr. On the whole, Bimbisara collected Rs 36 cr through the pre-release business. The sources say that the film was made on a budget of 35 cr and the makers of Bimbisara made Rs 1 cr profit already.
