Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is making his comeback in Tollywood with an upcoming film. It is known news that Kalyan Ram has joined hands with a debutant director Malladi Vasishta. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, the upcoming film has been titled as Ravana in which he will be seen portraying the role of Ravanasura.
Touted to be a medium budget movie, the director Malladi Vasishta is currently busy finalising the script for the film. Initially, it was heard that the movie is titled as Tughlak. But as the film will face some troubles with the makers have decided to change it to ‘Ravana’. The official announcement regarding the title will be made very soon.
Kalyan Ram himself is going to produce this venture Ravana under his own banner NTR Arts. Furthermore, Ravana’s subject has a big span, so that the film makers may plan it as pan India film.
The story of Kalyan Ram starrer Ravana is set in the backdrop of 13th century and the film will have two actresses and they will have meaty characters that drive the film’s narrative forward. It will be made on the budget of Rs 20 Crores.
Kalyan Ram was last seen in investigative thriller drama 118, which was decent hit at the box office.
