Kamal Haasan will undergo a surgical procedure today on 22nd November to remove a transplant that was placed in his leg in 2016. MNM (Makkal Needhi Maiam) vice-president Dr. R Mahendran said in a statement that due to his busy schedule in politics and film commitments, there has been a postponement of the procedure for removal of Kamal Haasan’ implant. And on Friday, Kamal Haasan will undergo a surgical procedure for the removal of an implant placed in his leg after he suffered a fracture in 2016.
In the year, Kamal Haasan had a major health scare when he fell off from 18 feet. Earlier in an interview, Kamal Haasan has said about this accident, “I fell a good 18 feet from my favorite corner of my office, which I had been using to brood and ruminate for many years. The floor collapsed under me, and just caved in!” He underwent leg surgery after he slipped and fell.
Kamal Haasan will be getting admitted to the hospital for the surgical procedure today on 22nd November to remove the implant. Furthermore, Kamal has been compelled to take a break for the next few weeks. On his professional front, Kamal Haasan is also busy in the shoot of his upcoming much-awaited film ‘Indian 2’, which is being helmed by Shankar. Indian 2 has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead and the is slated for release in the year 2021. It is being bankrolled by Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner of Lyca Productions. Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film also has Rakul Preet Singh and Siddhartha. It is known the news that recently Kamal Haasan also hosted the third season of the reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil.
After wrapping up the shoot of Indian 2, Kamal Haasan will start shooting for Thalaivan Irukkiran, which is a sequel to Kamal Haasan and Sivaji Ganesan’s iconic film, Thevar Magan.
