It is known news that National award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut is reprising the role of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa in an upcoming film which is titled Thalaivi. Today the makers of Thalaivi took to their Twitter handle to unveil a new poster that features Kangana Ranaut’ Bharatanatyam look. Coming on the poster, Kangana Ranaut is seen dressed in a red saree paired with a green blouse and golden jewelry. Kangana Ranaut seems to be gearing up for a classical dance performance in the pic.

Recently during an interview, Kangana Ranaut said that she has done a lot of research for her role in Thalaivi. The actress took Bharatanatyam lessons and is also learning Tamil for her part.

Kangana Ranaut starrer Thalaivi is directed by AL Vijay and co-produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh under their respective banners Vibri Media and Karma Media And Entertainment, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on 26th January. Last month, the makers of the film Thalaivi shared Arvind Swami’s first look as Maruthur Gopala Ramachandran (MGR) from this upcoming multilingual movie, which is a biopic of J Jayalalithaa.

Currently, Kangana Ranaut is shooting Bharatanatyam sequences in J Jayalalithaa’s biopic Thalaivi in Chennai.

On the other side, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Panga. The sport based drama Panga is inspired by the life of a national level Kabbadi player.
