National award winning Kangana Ranaut is all set to helm a movie based on the life of late India’ Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the project has been titled Emergency. Apart from helming Emergency, Kangana Ranaut will also play the lead role of Indira Gandhi.
Indira Gandhi was quite controversial during the time of emergency and now we have to wait and see how the actress narrates this sensitive subject.
During the media interaction, Kangana Ranaut said, “Emergency is going to be my second directorial venture. Even though I wanted another movie, which I am also ready with, as my second directorial. I am very excited to bring Indira Gandhi’ story which has never been brought to screen. I am very eager to bring it to screen. I am very happy to be the director of this film Emergency.”
On the otherside, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen playing the lead role in an upcoming film Thalaivi, biographical film about the life of J. Jayalalithaa.
