She tagged Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, actor Kishore who played the forest officer, and Manasi Sudhir, who essayed Rishab Shetty’ mother and mentioned her amusement. Rishab Shetty himself helmed the movie Kantara, which is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. Ajaneesh Lokanth scored the music and the film has the cinematography by Arvind Kashyap.
Directed by Rishab Shetty himself, the thriller Kantara was released on 30th September. At first, only the original Kannada version was playing in the cinema halls. Then after a few days, the film got dubbed and released in 4 other languages- Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. Apart from the original Kannada language, all other dubbed versions also have turned out to be a big commercial success.
According to the traders, Kantara’ total box office collections of the film have crossed Rs 400 Cr at the worldwide box office.
