Now as per the latest updates, Kantara is going to be released in English language. If the news is believed to be true, then Kantara will be the first first Homebale Films production to release in English. But the official confirmation regarding this is still awaited.
Kantara film is based on the tradition and customs of a village in Karnataka state. The film is all about a death in the village of Dakshina Kannada leads to a war between the villagers and the forces of evil. Rishab Shetty, who directed the film, has also played the lead role in it.
