Bollywood is reigning high on the remakes of films from down south. After the latest blockbuster hit ‘Kabir Singh’, makers of the same are all set to remake yet another Telugu film ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ in which Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde played the lead roles. According to reports, Kartik Aaryan has been approached to play the lead role in the remake version of Allu Arjun starrer. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the makers are planning to rope in Sridevi’ and Boney Kapoor’ daughter Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead in the Hindi version of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ . If Janhvi Kapoor is picked, she will be seen reprising Pooja Hedge’ role from the original.
Telugu film ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ also starred Tabu and Nivetha Pethuraj in lead roles. The movie which was released on the occasion of Sankranthi this year, received positive reviews from the audience and critics alike.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik Aryan has some interesting projects like, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ co-starring Kabir Singh fame Kiara Advani and ‘Dostana 2’ co-starring Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya.
On the otherside, Janhvi Kapoor will be next seen playing the lead role in Gunjan Saxena, which is coming out on Netflix directly.
