The 3rd episode of Karan Johar‘s talk programme Koffee With Karan 7 included two top stars- Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akshay Kumar, who opened up about their personal and professional life on the show. One particular conversation Samantha Ruth Prabhu had with Karan Johar didn’t go well with Nayanthara fans. Nayanthara supporters claimed that host Karan Johar had disrespected Nayanthara on the show.
Karan Johar asked Samantha about working with a female actor working in the South today. Majili actress referred to her most recent project with Nayanthara, Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal- KRK, by saying, “Well, I recently did a film with Nayanthara.” She said that she believed Nayanthara to be the biggest actor among the four south Indian film industries. Karan Johar responded, “Well, not on my list!”
Ormax Media recently released the list that showed the ranking of the top female performers in India, which ranked Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the top female actress. As soon as the episode of Samantha and Akshay Kumar was out, Nayanthara’ fans trolled Karan Johar brutally for disrespecting their favorite actress.
