The young actor Vijay Deverakonda is going through a tough phase in his career. His previous offering, the romantic and emotional movie World Famous Lover, which hit the theatres on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, turned out commercially flop at the box office.
Now Vijay Deverkonda is working with Puri Jagannadh for his upcoming film Fighter which has Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey in the female lead role. Fighter has Bollywood connect. Filmmaker Karan Johar has been brought on board as one of the producers along with Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur.
Vijay Deverakonda starrer Fighter is Puri Jagannadh first pan-Indian project. The next schedule of Fighter will begin in Hyderabad soon. Apparently, Puri Jagannadh had earlier wanted to rope in veteran composer Mani Sharma to compose the music of Fighter. However, when the film had transformed into a pan-Indian film and Karan Johar came on board to present it’s Hindi version. Now the reports are coming that Karan Johar asked Puri Jagannadh to rope Bollywood music composer for Vijay Deverakonda starrer.
Fighter is said to be based on the life of a boxer. It is tipped to be a Telugu-Hindi bilingual, which will also be released in other languages. This film Fighter will mark Ananya Pandey’ debut in Telugu.
