Noted producer and distributor Karan Johar is planning to acquire the Hindi remake rights of recently released Telugu romantic and comedy movie Bheeshma in which the young actor Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna essayed the lead roles. The movie which was released in the month of February, opened to a great response on the first day and was a decent hit at the box office. The sources say that Karan Johar recently watched Bheeshma and feeling that it is good for the Hindi audiences, he is planning to buy the Hindi remake rights of Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna starrer.
Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar seems to have realized the potential of the movie Bheeshma and is trying to grab the Hindi remake rights of the film. If everything will go accordingly, Dharma Productions will make the film in Hindi.
Nithiin starrer Bheeshma is directed by Venky Kudumula and is produced by Suryadevara Nagavamsi under Sithara Entertainments whereas Mahati Swara Sagar scored the music of the film. Apart from the lead pair, the film Bheeshma also has Jissu Sengupta, Annat Nag, Vennela Kishore, Satya, Sampath Raj, Ajay, Brahmaji, Hebha Patel and Avantika Mishra in the crucial roles.
On the otherside, currently Karan Johar is working with Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh for action drama Fighter.
