Telugu actress and comedian Karate Kalyani filed a case on the controversial actress Sri Reddy at Cyber Crime police station. The sources say that Karate Kalyani filed a case in which she alleged that Sri Reddy made some derogatory comments against her through social media which defamed her name in the society.
Based on The character artist Karate Kalyani’s complaint, the police registered a case under Section 67 of the IT Act and 506 and 509 of IPC against Sri Reddy and started the investigation.
“Karate Kalyani has filed a police case against the sensational actress Sri Reddy for making objectionable comments on her through Facebook live and a case has been filed against her in this regard,” a police officer said.
Karate Kalyani has done some vamp characters in few movies. Kalyani entered into the Limca Book of Records for performing harikatha continuously for 114 hours 45 minutes and 55 seconds. The Telugu actress has also participated in a debate on the casting couch phenomenon with controversial Telugu actress Sri Reddy. Kalyani did not support her because of her false allegations and assaulted her on live television. Her popular Telugu movies are Guntur Talkies, Yevade Subramanyam, Raja the Great, Goutham Nanda, Maa Alludu Very Good, Chatrapathy, Krishna and Mirapakay.
