Popular actor, film critic and satirist Kathi Mahesh met with an accident at Chandrasekharapuram village in Kodavalur mandal of Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. He was travelling on the Chennai-Kolkata National Highway in Kodavalur Mandal. Soon after the accident, he was admitted to Medicover Hospital in Nellore Rural area. According to the police, the vehicle in which Kathi Mahesh was travelling hit a container truck at the rear side.
Nellore’s Medicover Hospitals, where Kathi Mahesh is admitted, said that his condition is critical, as he was brought in with serious head and eye injuries.
Kathi Mahesh was travelling along with his driver when the accident took place.
Mahesh is a native of Chittoor district and shot to fame through his critical movie reviews. He was also one of the contestants in the second season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss Telugu, which was hosted by Young tiger Jr NTR. He has also appeared in TV show Kiss Kiss bang Bang and he has also acted in few movies including Sampoornesh Babu starrer Kobbari Matta. Recently he also campaigned for the YSRCP in Tirupati Parliamentary bypoll.
Kathi Mahesh is also the critic of actor turned politician and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and is known for his comments and observations on various subjects.
