KCR completes 4 years of second term today, Aims for hat trick

KCR’ TRS government completes four years in its second term on Monday with several achievements but also quite a few setbacks during the period. It was on this day in 2018 that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) and Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali were sworn in to mark the installation of government after a landslide victory for TRS in the  elections. KCR will start final year in office in his second term on Tuesday and he  enter the election year as the head of BRS government, with a focus on scoring a hat-trick as well as going national.

KCR took oath as Telangana CM for second term on December 13, 2018 after TRS won Assembly polls with a landslide majority by winning 88 seats out of 119 seats in December 2018.

K Chandrasekhar Rao worked as CM for first term from June 2, 2014 to December 12, 2018.

The CM’s fifth and final year in office is  important because the TRS, which he founded in 2001 and catapulted to power two times in 2014 and 2018, is no longer in existence, having been transformed into BRS on December 10, just few days before TRS government was to complete four years in office in its second term.  KCR will be engaged in national political activities with launch of BRS.
