
Chief Minister of Telangana KCR on Wednesday said his government is ready to allocate Rs 1,000 crore for the renovation and development of the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple, the most holiest of all Hanuman temples in India.
KCR said that after Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Kondagattu Anjaneya Temple would be promoted as a great spiritual destination to enrich the spiritual pride of India. Chief Minister made this announcement during his visit to the temple in Jagtial district and held a review meeting.
After reaching the Kondagattu area, CM KCR made a thorough inspection of the surrounding areas of the temple and then performed special prayers. He visited the temple premises along with public representatives and officials. Later KCR held the high level meeting with ministers and top officials.
KCR’ government is going to spend Rs 1,000 crore to develop the renowned Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple as the largest Hanuman temple in the country spread over 800 acres in Kondagattu of Jagtial district and Chief Minister directed officials to prepare plans for approval.
Hanuman devotees from the different states including Telangana come here and practice the Hanuman Diksha. Akhand Hanuman Chalisa recitation, abhishekam and the puja programs are also performed on a large scale. KCR directed the officials to build a huge hall to accommodate 50,000 people.
