On Monday, Telangana CM KCR received President Droupadi Murmu at Hakimpet airport. President Droupadi Murmu was given a warm welcome as she arrived in the city as part of her five-day southern sojourn, with CM KCR, his Cabinet colleagues and Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan receiving her at the Hakimpet airport.
Though the chief minister walked the red carpet with governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, he skipped the Raj Bhavan dinner in honor of the President Droupadi Murmu.
To welcome Droupadi Murmu, when Telangana CM reached Hakimpet airbase Governor Tamilisai was already waiting there. KCR and w Governor Tamilisai talked towards the helicopter to greet President Murmu. It is known that KCR and Governor were not in talking terms for a long time. KCR ignored Governor on many occasions in the past but now his pic with Tamilisai Soundararajan is going viral.

Mahendar Reddy extended warm welcome to President Droupadi Murmu at the Hakimpet airport. After greeting Droupadi Murmu at the airport, the CM left for his farmhouse in Erravelli.
