Now according to the latest buzz, Bollywood, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada producers had taken a bold step, the Telugu industry is also gearing up for closing the deals. If everything will go accordingly, Anushka Shetty starrer ‘Nishabdham’ might become the first such Telugu biggie to stream on OTT platforms. The reports are coming that the producers of ‘Nishabdham’ have been holding discussions with streaming giants.
Buzz has it that Anushka Shetty was against this idea as the decision may trouble the theatrical business of her upcoming movies. However, Tamil movies Penguin and Ponmagal Vandhal announcing their digital release dates has put Anushka Shetty in a spot. Penguin and Ponmagal Vandhal are the women centric movies. In Penguin, Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead, and she has added a pressure on Anushka Shetty’ film.
