Keerthy Suresh is all set to make her Bollywood debut. According to the latest update, Keerthy Suresh has been roped in an upcoming Hindi movie, a biopic of Syed Abdul Rahim in which Ajay Devgn will play the lead role.
Syed Abdul Rahim biopic will be directed by Badhaai Ho hitmaker Amit Sharma and Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing the role of Ajay Devgn’ wife.
Keerthy Suresh has been the part of several Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies and now she is going to test her luck with Hindi Film Industry. The film which will chronicle the glory of the Indian football team from 1950 to 1963, will see Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn stepping in the shoes of Syed Abdul Rahim, former Indian football team coach.
The sources say that Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh is on board and is set to play the female lead opposite Ajay Devgn. Keerthy Suresh said, “Syed Abdul Rahim’s story is a forgotten chapter in the Indian history and I am happy as the makers are telling it through a movie.”
Keerthy Suresh and Ajay Devgn starrer Syed Abdul Rahim biopic will be jointly bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, Akash Chawla, and Arunava Joy Sengupta and the screenplay is written by Saiwyn Quadras.
Recently during the media interaction, Boney Kapoor said, “Keerthy Suresh is one of the most successful actresses in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Her presence in this biopic would give us an enhanced reach in Southern belt.”
After delivering successful movie Sarkar starring Vijay, Keerthy Suresh is currently busy in her upcoming Malayalam movie Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
