Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was last seen on screen in the Telugu period drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, has two remake projects in his kitty. He will star in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, which will be directed by Jayam Mohan Raja. He will also be seen in a Telugu project which is a remake of Ajith Kumar starrer Vedalam. Billa fame director Meher Ramesh has been roped in to direct Chiranjeevi in the Vedalam remake. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, national award winning actress Keerthy Suresh has been roped in Chiranjeevi and Meher Ramesh’ Vedalam remake.
Keerthy Suersh will be seen playing the role of Chiranjeevi’ sister in Vedalam remake and she has also allotted her dates to the project. The film is expected to go on the floor either in October or November.
Earlier there was a strong buzz that Fidaa fame Sai Pallavi will play the role of sister but finally the makers roped Keerthy Suresh in.
On the otherside, currently Keerthy Suresh is sharing the screen space with Superstar Mahesh Babu in Sarkaru Vaari Paata which is progressing at the brisk pace in Hyderabad under the direction of Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame.
