It is known news that Mega Star Chiranjeevi is all set to play the lead role in upcoming Telugu film which is remake of Kollywood blockbuster film ‘Vedalam’ and ‘Billa’ fame Meher Ramesh is on the board to direct the film. Vedalam remake film will be produced by Anil Sunkara under the banner of AK Entertainments in association with Konidela productions.
It is evident that Anil Sunkara has produced blockbuster ‘Sarileru Nikevvaru’ starring Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna starrer this Sankranti. Now according to the latest update, the makers have roped KGF fame stunt directors Anbariv-the stunt duo Anbu and Arivu for Vedalam remake in which Megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead role.
Chiranjeevi recently confirmed that he would star in the Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, which will be directed by VV Vinayak. Recently it was heard that Megastar Chiranjeevi is stalling the project for a while to shoot the Telugu remake of Vedalam first.
Interestingly the Vedalam remake was initially planned to be made with Power star Pawan Kalyan a couple of years ago. Eventually, Pawan Kalyan went on to star in the Telugu remake of Veeram, titled Katamarayudu, directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani.
