Sequel of KGF has been in making from some time. KGF is a special film in Kannada industry which made entire nation look up for the movie. KGF is a sensational hit and the movie’s sequel is being shot with more enthusiasm. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie starts with where KGF has ended.
Yash has been playing the role of Rocky Bhai in the movie. According to the latest update currently shoot has been progressing in Hyderabad. Song is being shot in Hyderabad. In the same schedule, key scenes are shot already.
Recently actors like Rao Ramesh, Raveena Tandon have joined the shoot in which they are playing some crucial roles. KGF2 is being made on a massive scale. Hombale films is the production house behind the project. Already majority portion of the film has been shot but release date has not yet been finalized.
Prashanth Neel is in no hurry to release the film. He is taking his own time. Post production of the movie will take more time than the original as the sequel is more grandeur than the first one. Prashanth Neel after completing KGF2 will mostly be working with NTR for Mythri Movie Makers. Producers have paid hefty sum to the director.
