Plus Points:

  • Performance
  • Ravi Teja
  • Glamour of Dimple Hayathi
  • BGM
  • Pre interval twist and interval bang
  • Action scenes

Minus Points:

  • Flashback
  • Screenplay
  • Direction

Performance: After the Krack, Ravi Teja is back with the movie Khiladi.  He is looking  energetic as he was in his past movies. His action, body languages and facial expressions needs applause.  Both  the actresses  Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayathi have given their fantastic performance . Their glamour attracts the attention of many. Meenakshi Chaudhary looks good in her role and performs really very well. Anasuya surprises everyone with a good twist. Arjun plays a typical CBI officer , looks good on the screen. Remaining cast of Khiladi- Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Sachin Khedekar , Mukesh Rushi, Vennela Kishore have given their best.

Technical:  The story of Khiladi is interesting. The  special mention should go to the action sequences which have been composed well.  Devi Sri Prasad’ music is decent but his background score is very impressive. The dialogues are noteworthy.  The Camerawork is just ok. The production values are good. Coming to the director Ramesh Varma, he has done a good job and especially with Ravi Teja’s character. Editing is fine. Coming to the work of  director Ramesh Varma, he has done a disappointing job with this drama. He narrated the film well in the first half and ran out of the ideas in the second. There is no seriousness in his narration.

Analysis: Overall Khiladi is good mass masala entertainer drama. Plus points of the film are Ravi Teja’s characterization and action episodes.  Khiladi is filled with such loose ends and fails have a grip on the proceedings.
