Varun Tej’s latest outing ‘Gaddalakonda Ganesh’ was a decent hit at the box office and he is reportedly all set to collaborate with debutant director Kiran Korrapati. Although the film’s title is yet to be decided, the team is working on it and is set to be launched soon. Until then, the upcoming film will be referred with the working title Varun Tej 9, the film being his 9th Venture. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, the makers are planning to rope Kiara Advani in this film to romance with Varun Tej, who is essaying the role of a boxer.
Kiran Korrapati, who earlier worked as an assistant director for Srinu Vaitla, has prepared a story with a sports backdrop. The upcoming film of Varun Tej and Kiran Korrapati is said to be a Sports Drama and will have Varun Tej in the role of a Boxer. Currently, Varun Tej is undergoing boxing training in Mumbai.
Kiara Advani made her Telugu debut with Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu, directed by Koratala Siva, which was blockbuster at the box office. Later she shared the screen space with Mega Power Star Ram Charan in action thriller drama Vinaya Vidheya Rama, directed by Boyapati Srinu, which was ended up commercially flop. Her recent Hindi movie Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor was blockbuster at the box office. After VVR, she did not sign any Telugu film but now it is being heard that Kiara Advani will be seen sharing the screen space with Varun Tej in Kiran Korrapati’s film.
The regular shooting will be started from the next month. Sidhu Mudda and Allu Venkatesh are jointly producing this film under Renaissance Pictures and Blue Waters Creative banners whereas it will have the music by SS Thaman. C Williams will handle the cinematography.
