Kiara Advani played the lead role in the Karan Johar-directed part in ‘Lust Stories’ which is all about newly-married woman with a dull sex life. She experiences sexual pleasure in front of her husband and in-laws as an electronic gadget used for the purpose goes off accidentally while she is in living room with her joint family. Recently during the media interaction, Calling ‘s*x a by-product of love’, Machine actress Kiara Advani said, everybody is educated and aware of it. Everything is being shown openly instead of forcefully trying to hide it. Kiara Advani feels that as long as nothing is out of context, then it is fine to show it in films.
Kiara Advani added, “I feel now it is becoming normal and people are talking about it, Why make a big deal of it? It will take some time. For instance, kissing scenes were considered a huge deal in old time but not today.”
When Kiara Advani was asked, Whether or not it was awkward shooting the scene, she said, “We are professional so it wasn’t awkward while shooting. We knew that we are doing our job.”
Lust Stories is a anthology film, consisting of four short film segments directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Karan Johar. It is co-produced by Ronnie Screwvala of RSVP and Ashi Dua of Flying Unicorn Entertainment, the film has an ensemble cast including Kiara Advani, Manisha Koirala, Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Neil Bhoopalam, Neha Dhupia, Sanjay Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Akash Thosar.
