The differences between former BCCI chief and former captain of Team India Sourav Ganguly do not seem to be over. Kohli, who thinks that Ganguly is the reason for losing his captaincy, has repeatedly criticized this matter publicly. Recently, the two faced each other but did not join hands which once again highlighted the differences between them.

Last night Royal Challengers Bangalore-Delhi Capitals match took place. Bangalore won the match by 23 runs. Former Team India captain Ganguly is currently the director of Delhi Capitals, while Kohli represents the Bangalore side.

After the end of the match, while the players and staff of both the teams were shaking hands with each other, Ganguly and Kohli were sad. However, Kohli did not want to join hands with Ganguly. Ganguly joined hands with Duplessis who was next to him. Ponting, who saw that, told Kohli to join hands with Ganguly, but he refused again. This video is going viral on social media. Earlier, in the 18th over of Delhi Capitals’ innings, Kohli was seen staring at Ganguly, who was sitting in the dugout after being caught by Aman Khan.

Differences between Virat Kohli and Ganguly started in 2021. Then when the Indian team was touring South Africa, Ganguly was the BCCI chief. That’s when Ganguly gave up the T20 captaincy. After that Kohli was asked to continue as captain but he refused. However, Kohli denied the comments. After that, Kohli was also removed from ODI captaincy. Kohli also stepped down from the Test captaincy in January last year after the Indian team’s defeat in the South Africa Test series.
