After the release of the motion poster release of Acharya, copy allegations surrounded the project. A writer named Rajesh Manduri alleged that Koratala Siva has copied his story “Peddayana” which he registered with the writer’s association.
Without stopping at these allegations, Rajesh Manduri went to several TV channels and made bad allegations against Koratala Siva. Even the director joined a TV channel live chat and the issue heated up between the director and the writer.
Koratala Siva is feeling that just with a motion poster, how can someone make serious allegations like these. This is not the first time the copy allegations came against Siva. For Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu too, the director had to face such allegations.
But this time Siva wants to wage a legal battle against the writer. Niranjan Reddy, the producer of Acharya is a lawyer himself and he is foreseeing all the formalities. Let us wait and see how this issue will turn up.
